Business English Certificate Course

Guest Lecture for the First year students

Objective - To enlighten the students on the Business English Certificate Course.

Guest speaker - Ms. Kakoli Sarkar, Marketing Manager, British Council of India, Chennai.

          A meeting was arranged on 23rd November 2005 for the first year B.E. Students. The BEC Co-ordinator and Administrative Officer Prof. E. Ramasamy welcomed the gathering. Dr. R. Prabhakar, Principal, CIT gave the presidential address. Ms. Kakoli Sarkar from British Council gave a power point presentation on the BEC Course. She spoke about the importance of Communication skills and the necessity to learn the English language course through British Council to improve Communication skills. She depicted that the course will enhance the reading, writing, speaking and listening skills of the students in English Language. The certificate will be provided by the Cambridge University and the course has an International benchmarking. Vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. P. Santhi, Selection Grade Lecturer in English.
