     As part of the Golden jubilee Celebrations, the Humanities Department of Coimbatore Institute of Technology organized a Guest Lecture on " Competitive Exams for Students : Simple Steps to Success " at the Conference Hall, Administrative Block on July 10, 2006 from 4:00pm to 6.00pm. Mr. E. Justin Ruben and Ms. V. Arthy were the Coordinators of the Programme. The Resource Person Mr. Mangalaprathaban, Lecturer P. G. Dept. of English from N. G. M. College of Arts and Science, Pollachi, Elaborately explained to the students about the maximum utilization of the Internet Resources. He also talked to them about some simple and effective ways to improve their verbal and analytical skills. The Lecture was interactive and enlightening to all.
