Enrollment
The students are admitted to the various
courses
as per the stipulated guidelines of the Tamil Nadu Government. The
selected students are sent admission note and they
register themselves at the Institute on the specified date.
After registering themselves the students attend an
Orientation Programme held in the Institute’s Auditorium. The
Principal, the Administrative Officer, the Controller of Examinations
and Heads of the various Departments
address the students gathering. The students are exposed to the code of
conduct, the do's and dont's
and
the
other rules and regulations of CIT during the orientation
programme. The office bearers of the Student Union
address the freshers on
the campus life and the various facilities available
to improve their technical acumen. The
students are taken on a campus tour to familiarise them with the
environment.
